Last day in Masbonson

It has been an amazing week here in this beautiful corner of the world. The ten of us have laughed, taken hundreds of photos, enjoyed the generous and warm hospitality of Gilbert and Nicole, welcomed by the local mayor with a tour of the 15 student school plus a champagne reception, soaked in the atmosphere, more photos, especially of the French limousine cows, ate very well, and we even painted every day, plein air.

This afternoon we are having a little art exhibit for the residents of the   hamlets around us. It was to be a plein air exhibit, but with the weather changing hourly, it will most likely be inside our guest house, Chezemma.

It has been one fabulous dream art vacation with amazing people.

There will be more posts added when we get home with better explanations when I can type posts on my own computer, but we hope you have enjoyed the trip. We certainly have.

Tomorrow we take the train back to Paris, spend one last night in the city of lights before flying home on Tuesday.

Au revoir French cows, rooster crows, wild kitties, turtle dove coos, misty mornings, kitchen gardens, 200 year old homes, climbing roses in all colors, wild foxgloves in bloom everywhere, the banter of French and English conversation and the crazy fun of ten adults spending a vacation together!

A Bientot!
